Sustainability Seminar

3pm 4:45pm The Georgian Townhouse, Thursday 24th May

Breweries and pubs that are in it for the long term need an environmental plan. Not just for altruistic reasons. But for good commercial and reputational reasons. Adnams are famed throughout the industry for their market-leading, award-winning positioning on sustainability. As trail-blazers in the environmental field, they have significant experience, knowledge and advice to offer.

The Business Energy Efficiency (BEE) Anglia project provides free audits and gives grants to pubs and breweries to improve energy efficiency.

In this seminar, Ben Orchard, environmental manager at Adnams; and Rex Kellet, Senior Environmental Business Advisor at BEE, will join the legendary beer writer Roger Protz to share information and experience, giving rare insights, energy and money-saving tips and valuable lessons. The kind of thing that’s relevant to journalists and beer writers…

Why do Guitars taste like Hops?

Friday 25th May 5pm – 6pm, Walnut Tree Shades

This talk is a mixture of fandom, humour, and genuine neuro-scientific research. Think it sounds like nonsense? Come along and have your sense challenged. If you’re right, you’ll at least taste some great beers. If you’re wrong, you just might taste them like you never have before.
