Today, Everards add Festive Ale Minicasks to their online shop, making those festive nights in as special as can be this winter!
Festive Ale is an indulgent winter warmer, which was incredibly popular last year in their pubs. It’s limited edition so place your order today via their online shop while stocks last!
What can you expect from this beer? Festive Ale is a rich, dark ale with a glow of amber. It’s been brewed with English Goldings and Fuggles hops alongside premium Maris Otter malt and a touch of black malt and molasses to accentuate the sweet malts. The result is a lovely traditional ale with a dominant malt and a rich alcohol warming flavour.
A higher strength beer at 6% ABV, it has an indulgent, warming character with tons of flavour which makes it perfect for enjoying over the festive period as it tastes great with Christmas pudding, sweet mince pies and a cheeseboard.
“We are asked yearly if we can offer our festive beers in a take home option for people to continue their celebrations beyond the pub and we are really happy to see this beer available in minicask for all to enjoy. It’s one of my favourites, it’s rich warming fruitiness just screams Christmas to me!” says Comms Co-ordinator Kia Ryan.
Different to their usual minikegs, Everards range of limited edition minicasks are filled by their brewers with fresh beer directly from their cellar in Glenfield, so they have a shorter shelf life but will last you through to New Year.
Everards are also delighted to share that their customers can now buy more than beer from their online shop. Everards have teamed up with local and independent businesses Burleigh’s, Warner’s, Bier Nuts and Salty Dog to offer gins and snacks alongside their ever-popular beer range.
Gins available include Warner’s Rhubarb Gin – the very first rhubarb gin, ever! And the roaring success from Burleigh’s; their Leicester Tigers and Leicester City FC Gin, plus a couple more.
