Exale have teamed up with refugee charity Choose Love to create a beer that will raise funds for the Ukraine fundraising appeal.
Choose Love does whatever it takes to provide refugees and displaced people with everything from lifesaving rescue boats to food and legal advice. Their work has reached over 3.8 million people and supported over 380 fast-acting community organisations across Europe, the Middle East and along the US-Mexico border. Everything they do is powered by a vision of a world that chooses love and justice every day, for everyone.
In response to the Ukraine crisis, Choose Love has supported over 70 organisations working across 12 countries who are providing vital aid and services to those still in and fleeing the country, including: emergency medical care, food, mental health support, support for LGBTQIA+ people, BIPOC and other marginalised communities.
Exale is a small independently owned brewery and a proud supporter of 1% for the planet, living wage accredited from day one. Locally they’ve worked with several organisations such as Walthamstow FC, Wood street walls & Young futures. They are committed to providing opportunities to local young people and a diverse spectrum and have given apprenticeships and training programmes to improve local employment, a collaboration with choose love was a natural choice.
For this beer Exale, alongside the team from Choose Love together have brewed a wildflower and honey saison with illustrations by Inga Ziemele, 100% of the profits will be donated to the Ukraine crisis fundraiser. Choose peace, always. Thank you.
