The discount retailer’s winter range will feature a range of Scottish craft breweries, with prices started at just £1.89
Aldi Scotland has today (Monday 9 September) launched its Winter beer range, with microbreweries from across Scotland featured in the line-up.
One of Scotland’s most popular craft breweries, Aberdeen-based Fierce Beer, has once again collaborated with the retailer to produce a duo of IPAs, which will be exclusively stocked at Aldi Scotland until March next year.
Brewed exclusively for Aldi, Pine Ridge (£1.99, 440ml, 6.2% ABV) is a classic west coast style IPA, featuring aromas of cut pine, grapefruit and light grassy notes. The beer has flavours of orange zest supported by biscuity malt and sticky resinous bitterness.
Shoreline (£1.99, 440ml, 6.2% ABV) is a hazy east coast style IPA. Packed with tropical and zesty aromas, the beer is bursting with notes of juicy citrus fruits from the hops and is balanced on a soft oat and toasty malted barley backbone.
Fierce Beer is a multi-award-winning brewery based in Dyce, Aberdeen. From humble beginnings in 2016, when Aldi became their first ever customer, Fierce has grown rapidly to become one of the top five craft breweries in Scotland and has a UK-wide reputation for producing some of the best beers in the UK.
Craig Cargill, Sales Manager, Fierce Beer, said: “We are committed to bringing the unique flavours of Scottish brewing to a wider audience, and this collaboration with Aldi allows us to do just that. We’re very pleased that Aldi shares our passion for quality and authenticity, making them the perfect partner to help us deliver our brews to craft beer lovers at great value.”
This year’s line-up will also feature beers from Loch Lomond Brewery, as well as Edinburghbased Innis & Gunn and Stewart Brewing. Stewart Brewing’s Tiki Shake (£1.99, 440ml, 6.5% ABV), packed with mango, passion fruit and grapefruit, and Midnight Ripple, a rich raspberry stout, (£1.99, 440ml, 6.8% ABV) will both be exclusive to Aldi Scotland.
Graham Nicolson, Regional Managing Director, said: “I’m really pleased that we’re consistently able to bring new and exciting products to our customers, giving our customers the chance to sample locally produced, top-quality products at everyday prices.
“It’s very timely that this latest beer launch coincides with Scottish Food & Drink September, during which time we’ll be showcasing a range of Scottish suppliers and products. It really is one of the biggest events in our calendar and allows us to put the spotlight fully on a fantastic collection of Scottish producers.”

About Fierce Beer
Fierce Beer are a modern Scottish brewery based in Aberdeen. Fierce began life as a homebrewing project, inspired by the flavour-packed beers coming out of West Coast USA in the 2010s, and have been producing award-winning beers commercially since 2016. We’ve opened three bars – in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Manchester – as well as an on-site brewery taproom. Held in high regard in the UK beer community, we are the most awarded Scottish brewery in recent years, winning 14 medals at the 2020 Scottish Beer Awards before being named Scottish Brewery of the Year in 2021. In 2022, with capacity at our original brewery maxed out, we made the move into our current home, where we’re working hard, growing fast, and continuing to focus on brewing outstanding beer.
