Founders limited edition KBS at Beer Hawk

BeerHawk.co.uk is really excited to announce that it is in possession of limited edition Founders KBS for its trade customers during April 2017.  The multi-award winning online beer retailer took possession of the Michigan-brewed imperial stout on Monday and it’s now available to all trade customers at a highly competitive price at https://trade.beerhawk.co.uk/.

Patrick Gengler, Beer Hawk’s Sherpa is very excited about this latest acquisition.  He commented, “This is a truly delicious beer.  It’s brewed with tonnes of coffee and chocolate, and is cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for 12 months to pull through those bourbon undertones, namely vanilla, right to the finish.   It’s a must-stock stout and it’s an essential to carry over the Easter period as something to tempt chocolate and beer lovers alike.  Our trade customers need to place their orders soon; it’s not going to be around for long!”

The Founders brewery itself boasts further about the beer, extolling the 12-month aging in Kentucky bourbon barrels in gypsum mines 85 feet underground at a temperature of 38-40 degrees Fahrenheit (that’s 3-4 degrees Celsius for UK trade customers!).

Beer Hawk has provided tasting notes on its website [here http://bit.ly/2nM5TEK] and features members of the team providing their own thoughts.  Trade customers can contact Patrick to find out more.

The Beer Hawk trade service was launched in 2016 and is growing substantially, with customers from both the on and off trade enjoying the carefully curated selection of over 800 beers on offer.  Beer Hawk has grown to become the UK’s largest consumer beer delivery platform in just five years.

They have secured joint ventures with others, such as Amazon, Moonpig and CAMRA and have set ambitious forecasts for the next 5 years.  Recently winning an award in the 2016 Northern Ecommerce Awards and previously the prestigious Rising Star award at the government backed Growth Accelerator, with Mark himself being shortlisted as finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2014 (Food & Drink category), the heritage behind this young brand is without doubt.  Beer Hawk is proud to be one of the small but growing band of Living Wage employers, receiving their accreditation from The Living Wage Foundation in February 2016.
