Summary

It has been a tough year for women in beer and it can take its toll on mental health.

Lucky Saint is pleased to offer a 4 hour Mental Health Aware training course to the Women On Tap community. We are excited to extend this offering to such a fantastic group of people.

Lucky Saint, the UK’s most popular alcohol-free beer, has announced it will support Mental Health First Aid England (MHFA England) to offer mental health training to hundreds of staff at hospitality venues across the UK. The initiative has already supported a range of hospitality brands, including Wahaca, Honest Burgers, Pizza Pilgrims and Freight Island with training. Employees have developed the skills to support peers and colleagues as venues welcome back customers in greater numbers.

This course will be led by MHFA England Ambassador and Instructor, Harry Corin, who is leading this initiative at Lucky Saint.

During the course we will cover:

  • What mental health is and how to challenge stigma

  • A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues

  • An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing

  • Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue

You can see more about the national programme here: https://mhfaengland.org/organisations/workplace/2-day/

This session is delivered online and you can participate from home or wherever else you choose. You will be sent a pack in advance of the session.
