With Christmas only a few weeks away, Shepherd Neame is getting in the festive spirit with the launch of Rudolph’s Reward.
This easy drinking ale, with an ABV of 4.5%, is the latest offering in Shepherd Neame’s Cask Club range of experimental, innovative ales celebrating modern styles and flavours.
Featuring both pale and crystal malts, the light brown beer is hopped with East Kent Goldings and Target, both grown close to the Faversham Brewery. Christmas mulling spices are then added towards the end of the brewing process to give the beer a distinctive festive feel.
The contemporary pump clip design features the silhouette of a reindeer to reflect the Christmas theme.
Senior Brewer Stewart Tricker said: “Rudolph’s Reward is a medium-bodied ale with a robust bitterness. It’s full of the Christmas spirit and is the ideal beer to enjoy in front of a roaring log fire in your favourite local.”
Rudolph’s Reward will be available on draught throughout December while stocks last.
