Greek BeerBartender Awards are conducted for fourth consecutive year

The rewards institution of the hardship and the ideas in the brewing scene in Greece is organized once again with its peak taking place on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Zappeion Megaron, with the awards given to the winners of the industry. This year BeerBartender Awards beyond the classic “Consumers Awards”, awards through online voting with 12 categories which is ongoing and will be completed in 1st of March, is updated and enriched.

The 4th BeerBartender Awards, from this year will have more prizes for beers, those after a blind tasting. The “Greek Beer Awards” made to corresponding the standards of global competitions with taster’s judges, journalists and beer specialists from abroad. The award ceremony will take place on the 8th of March, along with the awards form the online voting “Consumers Awards” at Zappeion Megaron.

During the 4th BeerBartender Awards will be held for the first time a Brewing Conference in Greece. On Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in Marousi Plaza, will take place the 1st International Beer Conference, garnering beer experts from abroad to discuss and do case studies on issues considered critical in both Greek and global brewing scene. The 1st International Beer Conference is addressed to professionals and those who have a direct or indirect interest in it.

The 4th BeerBartender Awards are under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Tourism, the Professional Chamber of Athens, the Hellenic Brewers Association, the Municipality of Maroussi and the British Guild of Beer Writers. The 4th BeerBartender Awards are organized by BeerBartender in collaboration with Spoon Advisors.
