Guild AGM 2021: Motions for Discussion Due Tomorrow, May 11th

The Guild’s AGM is set for Tuesday, June 22nd from 7 – 8.30 pm BST and will take place virtually via Zoom.

All members of the Guild are welcome to attend and hear from the Guild’s Board on achievements over the past year and plans for the future.  Full members are entitled to vote at the AGM; Associate and Corporate members are welcome to join us, but may not vote.

Election of Board directors

The following directors are retiring by rotation: Frances Brace, Pete Brown, and Annabel Smith. Robert Humphreys, as a co-opted director, must also retire. This leaves us with three vacancies on the Board.

The application period to stand for election has now closed. Frances, Annabel and Robert have chosen to step down. We are incredibly grateful to them for their many contributions to the Board over the years.

Pete will be standing for re-election, with four further applications received.

Motions for discussion
Full members may propose a motion for discussion at the AGM.  These must be received by May 11th via email to secretary@beerguild.co.uk.

Voting and proxy voting
Like last year, the voting for the Election of Board Directors will take place online in advance of the AGM. Voting for or against motions will take place live during the AGM using Zoom’s poll function. More information on proxy voting, for Full members who are unable to attend, will follow in the coming weeks.

Confirmation of attendance
To RSVP, email secretary@beerguild.co.uk. You will be provided with the Zoom link the day before the AGM.
