The Guild of Beer Writers was well represented among the judges at this year’s World Beer Awards, held in Norwich
Guild member and judge Frances Brace said, “It’s an extremely well-regarded competition with a fantastic array of entries from all over the world. Standards of judging are highly exacting – and it’s an education in itself to listen to conversations around each beer.
“The depth of knowledge, the extent of experience and the ability to express in eloquent terms the character of the beers is quite striking.”
