Guild of Food Writers Awards 2021 Call for Entries

Entries are now being accepted for the 2021 Guild of Food Writers Awards for food and drink writing and broadcasting.

The Guild of Food Writers Awards were established in 1996 and are presented in recognition of outstanding achievements in food writing and broadcasting.

There have been some small changes to the categories for 2021 to reflect how the world of food writing has evolved since the awards were established. Most significantly we have added a new Self-Published Work Award. We have also divided the Drinks Writing category that we launched last year into two categories: the Drinks Writing Award will remain the place for journalism in relation to drinks and the new Drinks Book Award will be for books.

Full details of the 2021 Awards are available here, where you will also find a link to the online Awards entry form.

There are 15 main awards categories:

The closing date for completing entry forms for 2021 is Thursday 18 February 2021 and all materials must be with the judges by Thursday 18 March 2021.

The winning entry in each category will receive a trophy.

The winners of each Award will be announced on the online Guild of Food Writers Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 23 June 2021.
