Lovers of Oakham Ales can now ‘hail’ Green Devil IPA from bars and restaurants across the Capital, with the introduction of a new liveried taxi with the beer’s distinctively eye-catching branding.
Green Devil IPA has won numerous awards since it was launched six years ago and was named Champion Cask Ale at the 2013 and 2015 biennial International Brewing Awards, beating off 23 other countries to the title.
London is a new area to have direct supply from Peterborough where Oakham Ales is based and further supports Oakham’s current distribution routes into the Capital.
It is also a target to expand Oakham Ales ‘Oakademy of Excellence’ which already has nearly 300 members across the UK and consists of venues that serve Oakham Ales, Oakham Craftworks Kegs, Ciders or Wines from its Bellwether Wines division on a permanent basis. In return members benefit from access to exclusive ‘Limited Edition’ ales, as well as priority access to: Oakham Ales; Seasonals and Specials.
The Old Fountain is one of the first pubs in London to receive beer directly from the Brewery and to become an Oakademy member. It is just around the corner from Old Street tube. For the full range of Oakham Ales as well as delicious Pan-Asian Cuisine Oakham Ales, beer aficionados can also visit Oaka at the Mansion House, a short walk from Kennington Tube Station.
