Dorset based family brewer Hall & Woodhouse is in the process of completing a full health and safety audit of its tenanted estate, with Business Partners receiving a free comprehensive review of their business.
The audit reviews food safety, policies & documents, fire safety and internal & external condition of the property, asking for evidence that documents and processes are in place and highlighting areas where Business Partners need to focus.
Undertaken by leading firm SAI Global, the audits will be repeated on an annual basis. Hall & Woodhouse will continue to fund them, with operators responsible for remedying any issues identified.
The news comes a week after Hall & Woodhouse announced that it will be freezing the wholesale price of cask ale for its partners for a fifth consecutive year, as well as investing £3 million into refurbishments and repairs throughout 2013.
Matt Kearsey, Hall & Woodhouse Business Partnerships Director comments: “We’re delighted to be offering our Business Partners further support and expertise in such a crucial area. This process is designed to help them understand the areas of their business that require further attention.”
