In-Visible: Charity craft beer collaboration launched for International Women’s Day

A collaborative effort from female-owned breweries from Leeds and Norfolk has come together this International Women’s Day (Friday 8th March) to proudly unveil a new charity beer.

Farsley-based Amity Brew Co and Kings Lynn based Duration Brewing have launched limited edition beer, In-Visible, a 5.4% Dunkelweizen-style beer that is a celebration of women and a call to action.

In-Visible stands as a symbol of solidarity and supports Snehalaya (Home of Love), an Indian charity committed to empowering women and girls by working to end Gender Based Violence providing education, healthcare and rehabilitation projects to those that need it most. For every can of In-Visible Brew sold, 10p will be donated to supporting Snehalaya’s vital work, something that Miranda Hudson founder of Duration has first hand experience of since joining the charity as a trustee in 2014 after visiting the project in 2009.

Miranda said; “This collaboration celebrates women’s rights and advocates for equality. We are proud to support Snehalaya and contribute to their important mission. Over the last two decades I have seen first hand how vital and transformative their work is. In providing education, medical, and legal support they are addressing the root causes of discrimination to bring long lasting change. Snehalaya understands life is better when everyone feels seen and heard”.

Pouring a deep mahogany with captivating aromas of caramelized banana and clove, In-Visible is a testament to the depth, complexity, and creativity of women everywhere. With each sip, drinkers are invited to raise a glass to the women who have shaped our world and to champion equality for all.

“We are thrilled to partner with Duration to create In-Visible in honor of International Women’s Day. Not only was it an absolute joy to brew with Miranda but we were also so thankful to share with her the challenges and experiences of running a small brewery.” said Verity Clarke, co-owner of Amity.
