Independent Manchester Beer Convention Thursday 10th – Sunday 13th October 2013 Victoria Baths, Manchester

Indy Man Beer Con is back for 2013, a four day celebration of beer with progressive brewing types from here and there.

Each day of IMBC will feature different brewers and different beers on both cask and keg, food stalls, a special beer and food dinner, pop up tastings, musics, talks, seminars and all round good times.

We have proudly announced the following breweries, which this year will be spread across the three rooms of the wondrous Victoria Baths.

They include the following: Thornbridge, Marble, Magic Rock, Dark Star, Redwillow, Quantum, Tap East, Roosters, Liverpool Craft, Camden Town, Beavertown, Cromarty, Tiny Rebel, Birrificio Italiano, Toccalmatto, Brewfist, Birra del Borgo and much much more to be announced in the forthcoming months.

This year our food stalls will be co-ordinated by Guerrilla Eats, featuring eight stalls of the finest ‘street food’ around.

“The atmosphere was great; friendly, reverent without being preachy, and inclusive. Community, indeed.” – The Good Stuff

“Nothing else I’ve been to in the UK is comparable” – Ale Is Good

“It was groundbreaking, the first of it’s kind and in my view at least an event that strove from the start to examine everything about the average British beer fest” – Beer Say

“It was just perfect” – Beer Compurgation

“An event of this nature and scale doesn’t get designed by a committee yoked with misplaced tradition. It needs vision and ambition, bloody-mindedness and bloody hard work. So caps doffed to the organisers for shaping it…” – Reluctant Scooper

“Indy Man will come round again, if for no other reason than due to the near-constant stream of praise that emanated from Twitter” – The Beer Cast

“A joyous event held in the crumbling splendour of the Victoria Baths” – Fiona Beckett of the Guardian

“After years living in the shadow of draught-flow Boddingtons, the north west of England’s beer scene is shaking off the shackles of mediocrity…like a Port Eliot festival for the liver” – Caught By The River
