(London UK) 05 February 2014, The Drinks Retailing Awards, awarded Real Ale Ltd ‘Independent beer retailer of the year’. Awarded for its commitment to championing beer and making it the core element in the success of their business in the past year.
The awards are among the trade’s biggest highlights, bringing together the leading lights in retail and rewarding The Best in The Business. Not only is the judging process one of the most rigorous and thorough of all the industry awards, but it is unique in covering the entire breadth of the take-home market, striving to reflect excellence in as many areas of the trade as possible.
The awards were presented at a ceremony on the evening of February 4, 2014 at one of London’s most prestigious venues, The Dorchester Hotel. There were 20 award categories in total with 60 finalists.

Real Ale were awarded Drinks Retailing Awards ‘Independent Beer Retailer of the Year’ in 2013 and ‘Best Retail Business’ at the Richmond Business Awards in 2012 and 2013. In February 2013 they were ranked 46th in The Times, ‘Top Food Websites’. They are also listed in Time Out London ‘London’s Best Shops 2013’.
