Jane Peyton on BBC’s Food Programme

 

Jane Peyton, beer sommelier, writer and Guild member has participated in Radio 4’s The Food Programme in a show about women & beer.  The show will broadcast on June 11th at 12.30pm and June 12th at 15.30.

Jane’s role was to advise the producers about women in the current beer and brewing scene and was recorded introducing a range of beers brewed by women in an attempt to persuade show host Sheila Dillon to drink more beer. Sara Barton, owner of Brewster’s Brewery and former British Guild of Beer Writers Brewer of the Year was partnered with Jane to discuss women and beer.  Other guests include Jaega Wise, head brewer of Wild Card Brewery and the producers visited the annual Fem-Ale Festival in Norwich which features beers brewed by women.

Jane is also a judge for the drinks entries in BBC Radio 4 Food & Farming Awards 2017.
