Jane Peyton’s latest book is published

Jane Peyton’s latest book ‘The Philosophy of Gin’ has been published. It is a concise history of gin commissioned by the British Library as one of a series of ‘The Philosophy of …..’ titles.  The angle of the book is the reasons people drank/drink gin throughout its history. They include medicine, patriotism, religious affiliation, recreation, desperation, reward, and fashion.

Jane has also written ‘The Philosophy of Beer’ for the same series and that will be published April 2021.

Signed and personalised copies of The Philosophy of Gin can be purchased through Jane’s webshop for £10 + P & P: https://www.school-of-booze.com/shop/the-philosophy-of-gin-by-jane-peyton/
