Joule’s Brewery Presents: The Inaugural Corker Dog Show – A Celebration of Canine Charm and Charisma in support of Guide Dogs Trust

Joule’s Brewery is thrilled to announce the launch of the first-ever Corker Dog Show, sponsored by Chocolate Corker. Scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 30th, 2024, from 11 am to 3 pm at Crown Wharf in Stone, this event promises a fun-filled day complete with excitement for all attendees.

The Corker Dog Show is a celebration of the special bond between humans and their four-legged companions, as well as special nod – or pat – to all our four-legged patrons. With a wide range of categories including Best Puppy, Waggiest Tail, and the prestigious Chocolate Corker Award, there’s something for every pup to strut their stuff and showcase their unique talents.

We’re incredibly excited to host our first Corker Dog Show,” said Georgia Charlton-Briggs, Brand Manager at Joule’s Brewery. “Our furry friends play such an important role in our lives, and this event is our way of celebrating their companionship and loyalty.”

All pubs within the Joule’s Brewery estate are proudly dog-friendly, welcoming pups in for a refreshing drink of water and complimentary dog treats available on the bar.

In addition to the thrilling competitions, attendees can look forward to enjoying delicious food and a selection of Ales and Craft beers from Joule’s Brewery.

As part of Joule’s Brewery’s commitment to giving back to the community, we are proud to announce that 10p from every Joule’s Beer sold on the day at the event will be donated towards the Guide Dogs Trust, a charity dedicated to providing guide dogs for people with sight loss. Additionally, entry fees collected for the Corker Dog Show will also be contributed to this important cause.

We’re proud to support Guide Dogs UK and the amazing work they do,” added Georgia “By attending the Corker Dog Show, not only will you have a fantastic day out with your furry friends, but you’ll also be helping to make a difference in the lives of those in need.”

We are thrilled to announce that the Mayor and Mayoress have graciously accepted our invitation to attend the Corker Dog Show and help judge the various categories, including the highly anticipated Best in Show. Their presence adds an extra layer of prestige to our event, and we are honoured to have them join us in celebrating the bond between humans and their furry companions. Attendees can look forward to meeting the Mayor and Mayoress as they lend their expertise and enthusiasm to select the most deserving winners.

The Corker Dog Show wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of local businesses. Joule’s Brewery extends a heartfelt thank you to all the sponsors and prize donors who have contributed to making this event a reality.

We are absolutely thrilled to host the Corker Dog Show at our pub and extend a warm welcome to all our regulars, both two-legged and four-legged,” comments Emma Burbridge, General Manager of Crown Wharf, Stone. “Our regulars and their furry companions are like family to us, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them all come together for a day of fun and camaraderie. As a dog lover myself, I feel like I know these dogs just as much as their owners, and I can’t wait to see them shine in the spotlight. It’s going to be an great day for everyone involved!”

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be a part of this event! Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 30th, 2024, and join us at Crown Wharf in Stone for a day filled with furry fun and excitement at the Corker Dog Show.
