Keg’s the Word for UK’s Largest Brewpub Chain

The UK’s largest Brewpub operator Brewhouse & Kitchen has completed its largest brewing portfolio review, and alongside the publication of this year’s drinks list, has announced that in line with changing market requirements, it will be introducing 3 new keg beers to each Brewpub operation (including an exciting seasonal every quarter). The new entrants will feature alongside their established Cask beer range. The additions will bring the Brewpub operator’s overall number of own brewed beer to  the 328 mark, with the addition of this new in his keg range, each in-house brewed beer will have its own unique recipe for each brewpub on the rotating “brewers choice” line.

Matt Preisinger, Head of Marketing confirmed that:

“During the whole of May, we will reducing the cask line down to a range of 4 core ales and introducing a keg range including an Oatmeal stout, a craft lager and a seasonal rotational line kicking off with a Saison Belgian style beer into each brewpub.

In 2016 we rolled out our own Keg APA across the whole estate and this immediately became the our best selling draught beer, growth is in premium keg beer, we love cask ale and this will absolutely remain a core part of our offer, but we also seek to lead in terms of range, quality and innovation. As part of this commitment our brewing team have developed 133 new recipes over the last few months.

The world of beer has never been more exciting and diverse, at each B&K brewpub we now offer 9 of our own beers on draught all the time, plus a further range 58 beers (13 draught and 45 packaged) from our friends and suppliers, we have always challenged ourselves to be the go to place for an amazing craft beer range, unique brewing experiences and fantastic pub food”
