Lallemand Brewing proudly announces the launch of their latest innovation in the AB Vickers™ brand ISY S-Reduce, designed as a simple solution for correcting sulfur off-flavors and aromas in beer.
The AB Vickers™ ISY (Inactivated Specific Yeasts) line is markedly exciting for the brewing industry due to its biologically derived nature, providing natural and unprocessed solutions targeted for brewing.
ISY S-Reduce is an inactivated specific yeast autolysate, rich in biologically bound copper, capable of removing sulfur off-flavors from beer, including hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), dimethyl sulfide (DMS), and mercaptans. The sulfur compounds react with the copper and are removed with the yeast, resulting in a fresh and clean tasting beer. ISY S-Reduce is available in a 1kg pack with a treatment rate of 10-30g/hL.
Key Benefits of ISY S-Reduce
- Reduces and removes hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) from your beer.
- Potential reduction of other sulfur compounds including dimethyl sulfide (DMS) and mercaptans.
- Enhances desirable aroma and flavor compounds.
- Avoid extended maturation to remove sulfur compounds.
- Yeast-based solution.
