Online Seminar | Intro to Podcasting with Emma Inch

Wednesday, 6th May from 8 – 9pm BST

What is a podcast? How do you make one? And how do you get people listening?

In these challenging times, a podcast can serve as a great way to get your message across, raise brand awareness, and have a bit of fun. Join award-winning writer and audio-maker, Emma Inch, the Guild’s Beer Writer of the Year 2018, for a (very!) brief introduction to podcasting.

To RSVP, email secretary@beerguild.co.uk and you will be provided with the Zoom link for the meeting. Please note we will be limiting the seminar to 25 members.

Online Seminar | From Founding to Crowd-Funding with Guild Treasurer Paul Nunny

Wednesday, 13th May from 8 – 9pm BST

Online via Zoom

Join Guild Treasurer Paul Nunny for a seminar on his learnings from founding his latest business, to financing it.  Director of Cask Marque, Paul recently set up a sister company, Stay in a Pub, and completed a successful £750K crowdfunding exercise. He’ll share learnings from his experience and take your questions.

To RSVP, email secretary@beerguild.co.uk and you will be provided with the Zoom link for the meeting. Please note we will be limiting the seminar to 25 members.

Hosting a seminar:

Are you an experienced member willing to volunteer an hour of your time to share your insight on blogging, editing, writing press releases, podcasting, photography, beer judging or tasting or any other relevant skillset to our members?

Please contact Guild Chair Pete (petebrownsemail@googlemail.com) or Guild Secretary Natalya (secretary@beerguild.co.uk) with your interest and we’ll schedule you in.

In normal circumstances, the Guild pays standard going rate to tutors and presenters and we’d never ask Guild members to work for free, but in this instance, we are asking for members to volunteer their time, if able, to share their skills with other members.

Any questions, please contact secretary@beerguild.co.uk.
