Commenting, Julian Ross, CEO at Wireless Social, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for operators to showcase their skills on and off the pitch, all whilst supporting three incredible charities. I am absolutely thrilled with the response so far, with team registrations, donations and sponsorships flooding in since we announced the launch of Hospitality Kicks. It is a strong reminder how brilliant the hospitality industry is at coming together to help others. With only few spots left, I urge anyone who is keen to get involved, be it playing or sponsoring the event to move fast. This is sure to be one of the hospitality events of the summer but with your support, it can be even better!”
About Only A Pavement Away
Only A Pavement Away was established by hospitality industry consultant, Greg Mangham & his wife Gill, on World Homeless Day, 10th October 2018, to help those facing homelessness, prison leavers and veterans, find employment in the hospitality industry. Its bespoke hospitality Jobs Board – which is free of charge – has been developed to help streamline and alleviate the burden of the processes that employers go through in employing people who are struggling to reconnect with society. To date, the charity has placed 300 people into work, adding an approximate value of £5m to the economy through reduced government support, financial independence and household expenditure. It has ambitious plans in place to support a further 1,000 people – who are either experiencing or at risk of homelessness – into work over the next 5 years. www.onlyapavementaway.co.uk

About the Tim Bacon Foundation
The Tim Bacon Foundation is a Registered Charity (No. 1173108) and was established in Tim’s name to recognise his achievements, continue his legacy and to echo his legendary spirit of generosity.
Tim was always vibrant, forever inspiring and generous of mind and spirit. The businesses he led and worked in together changed the face of Manchester’s restaurant scene and he left his unique mark on friends, employees and customers alike.
Following Tim’s passing in April 2016, it was important that Tim’s inspiring story was not forgotten and the best way to do that was to support the great people that helped him live with this disease that has become a part of so many people’s lives.
With the help of many friends from within and around the hospitality industry we aim to keep Tim’s memory alive with the declared aim to support charities for people living with Cancer.
