Leeds Beer Tours is delighted to announce the launch of a new guided tour experience, the Leeds Craft Beer Tour.
The Leeds Craft Beer Tour takes guests on an exploration of Leeds’ vibrant modern beer scene, with the package including a brewery tour and tutored tastings.
Three of Leeds’ leading craft beer venues make up part of the tour; Nomadic Beers, a modern craft brewery specialising in cask ale, Turk’s Head the quality craft beer sister bar of 300-year-old Whitelocks and North Brewing’s City Tap, one of North’s bars showcasing their pioneering craft beers.
Owner and Beer Evangelist at Leeds Beer Tours is Mike Hampshire. The tours have been operating since 2019, beginning with their flagship Leeds Heritage Beer Tour. In 2020, Leeds Beer Tours won the Leeds and West Yorkshire Prestige Award for Specialist Tour Company of the Year.

Leeds Craft Beer Tour dates start in July but can be booked now directly via the Leeds Beer Tours website. Also available are Leeds Heritage Beer Tour dates and gift cards for both experiences.

About Leeds Beer Tours
Leeds Beer Tours was founded in 2019 by Beer Evangelist Mike Hampshire. Professionally trained by the Beer and Cider Academy, Mike is also a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers and Brewery History Society, founder of Festival of Brewers and Vice Chair for the Leeds branch of the Campaign for Real Ale. Mike has also appeared in local and regional media publications, radio, and TV.
The first tour to launch was the Leeds Heritage Beer Tour, which explores a rich 300-year history of beer in Leeds. It takes guests to locations with significant ties to the history of beer and the city of Leeds itself, whilst learning about brewing, pubs, and beer along the way.
Less than a year after the launch of the Leeds Heritage beer Tour, Leeds Beer Tours won the Leeds and West Yorkshire Prestige Award for Specialist Tour Company of the Year 2020.
Guests on the tours have been welcomed from across the UK, as well as from Scandinavia and North America.
In 2021, a new tour was added, the Leeds Craft Beer Tour, which explores Leeds’ modern beer scene, including a brewery tour and tutored tastings.
