Head Brewer Derek Bates says:
“In this life, whatever your size, you never need eclipse friendship. The collaborative nature of independent beer is one of the best things about our industry – we are together for the good, the bad and the ugly and sometimes hardships make for more poignant unity. Time Marches On is a first release from our barrel store, and we have also included two beers Human Interface and Happiness Runs brewed collaboratively with dear friends Reece (Donzoko) and Luci and Mike (Double Barrelled) – two fledgeling brewers with big ambitions like us”.
Brewery founder and owner Miranda Hudson says:
“We decided to turn our popular monthly tour event into an ‘all play’ together with our trade partners for February. It’s Valentines and the love our community has shown has literally kept businesses like ours going. Feeling we are together while apart is really important right now and the simple act of coming together to share a beer is an inclusive activity we value dearly”.
Luci Clayton-Jones founder and owner of Double Barrelled says:
“ I’m excited about the drinkalong bringing a little happiness to an otherwise boring time and selling the event packs locally is genius. In the past year, many craft beer drinkers have developed a heightened awareness that how and where they shop is literally keeping good beer flowing. Supporting high street bottle shops struggling to survive in these odd times has never felt more important!”.
Reece Hugill founder and owner of Donzoko Brewery adds:
Let’s Beer Together is a way of reinventing the pub online and being #HereForIndieBeer. We want to raise a glass together with our entire supply chain and the beer community that supports us so avidly. Plus it should be a right laugh to hang out, meet people and share a few bevs”.
