April 2020 marked the 5th birthday of Liverpool-based Neptune Brewery. To celebrate, they collaborated with friends — 3 UK breweries and 1 international. The result: 4 amazing beers!
TURBULENCE – A collaboration with Manchester-based Marble Brewery. A punchy 7.4% West Coast IPA with big flavours of grapefruit and lemon with light floral notes and a balanced resinous bitterness.
KELPIE – A collaboration with Newcastle-based Anarchy Brew Co. A smooth 7.2% Wee Heavy with a light sweetness of rich caramel flavours and a warmth on the finish.
GALENE – A collaboration with London-based Anspach & Hobday. A refreshing easy drinking 4.3% Session IPA with mango, citrus fruits and a light pine finish.
SIRENS SONG – An international collaboration with Neptune’s Brewery based in Livingston, Montana, USA. This copper coloured 5.2% Honey Rye has notes of honey at the forefront with a light spiciness and balanced malt finish.
