Bristol, UK – July 18th, 2024 – Lost and Grounded Brewers are excited to announce they have secured two spots on We Are Beer’s Top 50 UK Beers list with their award-winning flagship lager Keller Pils taking 2nd place, whilst firm favourite Running with Sceptres places 34th in the rankings.
The Top 50 UK Beers is a new annual award from We Are Beer, the team behind the Craft Beer Festivals hosted in Bristol, London and Manchester. The shortlist is voted by a panel of over 150 UK industry leaders, brewers, retailers and journalists, recognising beers driving the category on its quality and appeal.
The top 50 was announced on social media this week, with the awards ceremony taking place at this year’s London Craft Beer Festival Trade Session on Friday 9th August, held at the Tobacco Dock. Lost and Grounded will be back at the legendary venue pouring their fresh, delicious and unique lagers to beer enthusiasts over the festival weekend.
About the Winning Beers
Keller Pils – Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. We take Pilsner malt from Germany and Belgium, and combine it with three traditional hop varieties – Magnum, Perle and Hallertauer Mittelfruh – to produce a clean, unfiltered, Hop Bitter Lager Beer. Gold Award Winner at the World Beer Cup® 2023 in the Kellerbier/Zwickelbier beer-style category.
Running with Sceptres – Lager’s answer to IPA! This India Pale Lager has a biscuity base of Pils and Vienna malt with a touch of light Crystal malt which is then dry-hopped – peachy and piney, this is modern lager at its best!
All of Lost and Grounded’s beers are unfiltered and vegan friendly.
