Maltings Festival Win for Zerodegrees

SIBA Southwest and Tuckers Maltings have been hosting Maltings Fest for over 20 years and its has been growing in popularity and size ever since.

Located in Newton Abbot, the festival started with 67 beers and has grown year on year with the inclusion of kegs, ciders, gins and other local beverages produced in the South West. An increase in beer categories also brings new focus and energy to the event and it is also run completely by brewer volunteers showing the passion behind the brew!

Simon, from Bristol, took 3 of his beers along for judging and took Joe, from Blackheath, along for the ride as well.

Simon entered one of our core beers, The Bohemian, which is a Czech pilsner and a staple across all our sites. Along with his Cloud Waltz, a dry hopped Vienna lager with an amber colour and light fresh finish.

The Bohemian brought in a very well deserved Gold award in the keg lager category and Cloud Waltz claimed Bronze for the overall keg beer as well as a Gold in the Keg amber and Dark lager award!

You can find our Bohemian Czech lager in all our sites and Cloud Waltz is currently in Bristol Zerodegrees.

Make sure you get some before its gone!
