Consumer Analyst Nigel Parson has been appointed as a Director of Market Taverns as the London pub company continues to strengthen its board. Nigel, who brings a wealth of expertise with his combination of business and City experience, specialises in equity research in the consumer sector.
Nigel, who commenced his career with Grand Metropolitan plc running tenanted pubs in London, spent 14 years in operations, marketing and strategy before moving to the City as a Brewing and Alcoholic Drinks analyst at Charterhouse Tilney Securities. He then joined WestLB Panmure where he led the consumer team delivering a pan-European consumer strategy. More latterly Nigel held director positions with Canaccord and finnCap and he currently acts as consultant analyst at Cavendish. Nigel has been a Starmine ranked analyst for both accuracy of earnings forecasts and stock picking.

Nigel’s appointment follows the recent appointment of Suzanne Baker as Non-Executive Director.
