Hitting shelves on the 20th September in 200 stores, the two brands have been at the forefront of the craft brewing revolution and both offer unique beers, full in flavour and beautifully packaged.

The five beers are imported exclusively into the UK by Euroboozer will be supplied into M&S in partnership with Real Ale (www.realale.com).

The quartet of Mikkeller beers launching include Stick a Finger in the Soil (Pale Ale, 4.6% abv), Hair in the Mailbox (India Pale Ale, 6.3% abv), Wood Will Fall Down (Passionfruit Berliner Weisse, 4.2% abv) and I Don’t Have Red Shrimp (Pilsner, 4.6% abv).  The beers are available in 330ml cans with an RSP of £2.50 each.

Making up the new beer launches is Ska Brewing’s Modus Hoperandi – an American-style IPA (6.8% abv) which is available in 355ml cans priced at £2.50.

Euroboozer’s Managing Director, Martyn Railton comments:

“Since signing the exclusive distribution deal with Mikkeller, the interest in the brand has been immense. We are delighted to give M&S the opportunity to be one of the first multiple retailers to stock these amazing beers. Working with Real Ale, the beer buying supplier to M&S and of course the breweries to make this happen has been an absolute joy. We expect the five beers to be extremely popular amongst the retailer’s well-travelled, adventurous and discerning customers.”

Michael Wallis, Beer Buyer for M&S said:

“We’re thrilled to be the first UK retailer to get hold of these brilliant beers.  They are both brands I have followed for a few years as the craft beer market has blossomed and I’m very confident they will be a popular with our customers.”

About Mikkeller – www.mikkeller.dk

Mikkeller was set up in Copenhagen in 2006 by maths and physics teacher Mikkel Borg Bjergsø who began by experimenting with hops, malt and yeast at home. Just over ten years later, the brewer and his cutting-edge brand is now much-revered within the craft beer industry for its quality, creativity, consistency and distinctive style.

Mikkel Borg Bjergsø is the world’s most famous and successful nomadic brewer who has built the brand without a brewery but by travelling the world and renting space at other breweries in order to release his unique beers.  With specialist Mikkeller beer bottle shops and bars around the world, the award-winning brand has released over 800 beers since its inception with the brews now available in 40 countries.

About Ska Brewing – www.skabrewing.com

Ska was set up by two best mates Dave and Bill in 1995, who discovered that the best way to enjoy quality beer while underage was to brew their own. Over 20 years later, their brewery and beers are loved around the world and the brand is synonymous with the best of American craft beer.
