Moorhouse’s – the acclaimed ‘Pendle Witches’ brewer – will bring the magic of Eldorado (4.4%abv) to cask lovers in March.
The golden coloured premium beer is single hopped with the American Eldorado variety to give a ‘rich full flavoured beer with aromas of apricots and peaches, backed with a sweet biscuit taste from Maris Otter malt’.
It is the second roll out in Moorhouse’s 2016 seasonal range of innovative ales brewed with European and New World hops along with traditional British varieties. Since the launch of a multi-million pound brewery in 2011, the leading Lancashire cask dedicated independent brewer has added to its award winning core brews each month.
David Grant, Moorhouse’s managing director, said: “As shown in the 2015 Cask Report, cask ale is a proven sales driver for publicans and golden ales are very much in demand. In these still tough trading times we aim to help our customers succeed by offering carefully crafted and very appealing seasonal brews alongside our championship core ales – all brewed and delivered to the Cask Marque quality benchmark.”
