Manchester-based importer Morgenrot has added a further two eye-catching, thought-provoking and tongue-titillating tipples from Sweden’s infamous Pang Pang Brewery – Gaffa Grey IPA and Prepper Double IPA.
Much famed for its Shower Beer, a 10% abv, double pale ale specifically produced to be enjoyed in the shower, the brewery’s latest duo of IPA’s continues the assault on the senses.
Gaffa Grey IPA (5.8% abv)
Grey Ale was introduced as a beer style by Pang Pang in 2015. It’s an IPA brewed with Earl Grey tea, and just enough roasted malts to support the tea, without interfering with the flavours and aromas of the hops. Gaffa is brewed with quite a lot of bergamot juice and zest, which gives it a refreshing acidity.
Prepper Double IPA 8%
This hoppy citra IPA is all you need to get through the apocalypse. This, and duct tape, a Ruger 10/22, paracord, loose morals, a tight relationship with Bear Grylls, a Cessna 172, and a remote cabin.
The new knockout beers are available in 30 litre key kegs and 33cl bottles and join Pang Pang’s Tiki Tango Pale Ale, Flamingo-go IPA and Shower Beer in Morgenrot’s portfolio. A third new beer named Bong Water, a Cohiba cigar-infused fat and oily stout, is set to arrive in September.

Translated into English as Bang Bang, unique doesn’t really cover it when it comes to lone brewer Fredrik, his brewery Pang Pang and his array of full-sensory stimulating, stunning Swedish beers.
