London-based independent beer merchants, Mother Kelly’s, have re-opened their Bethnal Green and Stratford taprooms for drink in service, both indoor and outdoor, from July 8th.
Both sites, along with the Stoke Newington bottle shop, have been offering a takeaway service, selling bottles, cans, and crowlers of fresh draft beer for the past few weeks.
With signage and floor markings in place, hand sanitiser stations available, and furniture arranged for social distancing, customers can feel ready to safely sit in for a pint of their favourite beer or cider.
Nigel Owen, owner of Mother Kelly’s said, “The safety of our staff and customers is our top priority, and as such we’ve put signage, social distancing and hygiene measures in place for everyone’s protection. We’re passionate about serving our customers the best independently brewed beer that we can possibly find and can’t wait to welcome them back to sit in and – safely – enjoy a beer with us on site.”
All open sites will continue to offer takeaway sales. Additionally, online orders can be placed through the Mother Kelly’s webshop on shop.motherkellys.co.uk.
Mother Kelly’s Vauxhall taproom and Homerton bottle shop will remain closed for the time being. Keep an eye on the Mother Kelly’s website and social media channels for further updates on these sites.
