I am excited to share the NCTJ’s Journalists at Work report, which was released yesterday at an event in Reuters, London.
There are many findings in the report related to training and development, which are highlighted below:
- 60% of respondents say they do not have a sufficient understanding of how AI could assist their work
- 53% of respondents with managerial responsibilities say they have not received any formal leadership training
- 89% of respondents say they work from home at least some of the time, with isolation and individual development highlighted as sources of concern
The NCTJ’s Journalism Skills Academy offers training for each of these areas: Leadership for Journalists, Artificial Intelligence and Working from home.
If you would like more information or would like to discuss further, please do let me know.
In the meantime, you can read the full report here
