Off trade seminar: one week to go

The Guild’s seminar on the off trade takes place in one week’s time, on Wednesday 18 October.  If you’re interested in joining us for this informative evening event, we still have places available.  We’ll hear from some of the retailers behind the transformation of the UK’s beer aisles, and the rise of bottle shops and hybrid stores.

Chaired by Drinks Retailing News editor Martin Green, the seminar will include Sarah Hammond, beer buyer at Waitrose; Zeph King of Real Ale – who source beers for M&S – and Jules Gray of Hop Hideout, the award-winning beer shop and tasting room in  Sheffield. We will also hear from There’s A Beer For That on their work on beer and food pairing with retailers.

Date: Wednesday, 18 October

Time: 6.00 – 8.30 pm

Venue: The Bottle Shop, 128 Druid Street, Bermondsey, London SE1 2HH

This event is free of charge to Guild members, to reserve your place please email secretary@beerguild.co.uk

The Guild is grateful to There’s A Beer For That, the campaign to reignite Britain’s love of beer, for their support for this event.
