Generative AI poses a real threat to anyone who produces original content. But in this lively one-hour session, Webby Award winner and former journalist Tom Hewitson intends to show that AI doesn’t have to just be a threat – that it can be part of your creative process.
Whether you’re writing tasting notes, brewery profiles, or in-depth features on fermentation trends, AI can help you spark new ideas, organise your workflow and hit deadlines faster.
You’ll see how to use AI to generate article angles, draft copy, refine tasting language, and even build content strategies for blogs, newsletters or social media. We’ll also cover how to collaborate with AI without losing your unique voice or point of view, because your expertise is what makes the writing worth reading.
Tom is the Chief AI Officer of General Purpose – one of the UK’s leading AI training schools. He’s also a Webby-award-winning AI technologist and Prompt Engineer. He previously founded the world-renowned Conversational AI studio labworks.io and is one of the most prolific publishers of Alexa skills in the world. Prior to working in startups he worked at Meta, the Government Digital Service and BBC Worldwide.
