NEW MEMBERS JOINING THE GUILD

A warm welcome to the following new members who have joined the Guild since April. Joining as Full members are:

Em Sauter – Em is an award winning cartoonist, beer judge, Advanced Cicerone®, public speaker and founder of the website Pints and Panels which focuses on visual beer education. Her first book, “Beer is for Everyone! (of Drinking Age)” was published by One Peace Books in October 2017. www.pintsandpanels.com

Francesca Slattery – Experienced in events, sales and communications roles in breweries both in the UK and Ireland, Francesca is also an Accredited Beer Sommelier and seasoned Beer Judge. Always keen to bring new people to beer and encourage greater knowledge and appreciation, Francesca shares her experiences from amateur to professional on her website www.gingeraleenthusiast.com

Harry White – Harry worked for Bass and then Molson Coors for 30 years, 19 of which were as a technical director. He is a past-President of the Institute of Brewing & Distilling, a personal liveryman of the Brewers’ Company and currently chairs the National Brewery Heritage Trust, a registered charity based in Burton-on-Trent. During his working life Harry authored a number of papers on various technical aspects of brewing and since retiring has written an article for What’s Brewing on the The Importance of Preserving Britain’s Brewing Heritage.

Gabriele Bertucci – Curator of the digital beer community “What’s In The Glass?”, working as Brand Ambassador for London Fields Brewery (London, UK) and host of events, training and tastings.  Gabriele has more than ten years of international experience in the beer world. www.whatsintheglass.co.uk
