Fog on the Channel, Part III
Wednesday, September 29th 2021
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm BST
Online via Zoom
We may be called the British Guild of Beer Writers, but we’re proud as an organisation to have among our membership writers and communicators from across Europe and beyond.
These members are perfectly placed to give us the lowdown on beer and brewing in their home region. So to celebrate these links, we launched a series of talks with our members from continental Europe. But for the next talk, we’ve pushed that geographical scope a little further.
For the third session of the series, we’re delighted to be joined by two fantastic writers:
– Lucy Corne, beer & travel writer, Lonely Planet author, On Tap Beer Magazine editor, author of Beer Safari, and certified BJCP judge and Cicerone
– Maurizio Maestrelli, journalist, beer and spirits writer, contributor to Il Sole 24 Ore, and co-founder of Milano Beer Week
We’ll talk what’s going on in the worlds of Italian and South African beer – what’s working in these countries, what;’s driving change, and the health of the prevailing beer culture in their respective countries is in 2021
The conversation will hosted by Eoghan Walsh, Guild member and founder of Brussels Beer City.
