Nomadic Beers Taproom – Saturday 16th February 2019 12pm Onward

After a brilliant 2nd Birthday party in January, Nomadic Beers will open the brewery doors once again on Saturday 16th February, for an open taproom event.

“People who joined us for our birthday party had a great time!” says ‘Gaffa’ Dr. Katie Marriott, the owner of Nomadic Beers. “Our February taproom is another chance to see the new brew kit & drink some of our great beers.”

“We’ll have a selection of our beers on including core beers ‘Bandit’ & ‘Strider’, plus something special that Ross is brewing!”

‘Head Brewer’ Ross Nicholson has been busy brewing in the Burley Street Brewhouse under the Fox & Newt pub. “We’re still using this brew kit while we finish the last bits off with the new brew kit” says Ross.

“I’ve been working on a special new beer, called ‘Centennial’. It’s part of our single-hop series & showcases the Centennial hop, one of the most popular hop varieties from the US” Ross added.

Centennial will be one of two specials available at the taproom, the other is original recipe ‘Stout’, one of the first beer recipes that Nomadic Beers brewed. There will also be a guest beer from Sheffield’s Neepsend Brew Co, plus gin from Leeds Gin.

“Based on feedback from customers who have come to our previous events, we’ve also added a cider this time” adds Katie. “The cider is from Pure North & is called ‘Fusion’.”

Food will be available from The Twisted Meal, who are Manchester-based & specialise in “Mexican soul food”. They cater for all palates including vegans & vegetarians, plus their food is 100% gluten-free.

“As with all our taproom events, everyone is welcome, including children & dogs. We provide free soft drinks plus treats for dogs” says Katie.

Nomadic’s February taproom will run from 12pm-7pm on Saturday 16th February, in their brewery at Unit 11 Sheepscar House, 15 Sheepscar Street, Leeds, LS7 1AD. The Brewery is next door to Enterprise vehicle rentals, a 15-minute walk from Leeds City Centre & just 3 minutes away from nearby North Brewing Co’s brewery tap room – Here is a map! The brewery is also fully accessible.
