Oakham’s Devilishly Good Beer Soon to be available in Keg

Oakham Ales Green Devil IPA, which was named Champion Cask Ale at the International Brewing Awards 2013 and Supreme Champion at the national SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers) Awards in 2012, will be available in keg format from the end of March 2014.   The champion beer will also return to bottle at the same time.

Adrian Posnett, Managing Director of Oakham Ales says: “This is our first move into craft kegs.  The demand for Green Devil IPA since we first launched four years ago has been huge. The return to bottle format and the move into craft keg now means that we will be able to keep pace with the ever-increasing demand for this exceptional beer.”

Green Devil IPA has an A.B.V of 6% in cask, bottle (500ml) and keg (30 litres). It has a fantastic hop harvest aroma with tropical fruit bursting through.  Starting with smooth and fruity passion fruit, pineapple and mango, the beer later develops into lemon, limes and a citrusy bitterness.  It finishes with a crisp refreshing dry aftertaste.
