Old Session Hen, the 3.4% ale is launching its 440ml can packs this autumn to offer another important format to consumers.
Launching early this year, Old Session Hen is one of the latest additions to the Old Speckled Hen portfolio and is currently available in 500ml bottles in Tesco, which was introduced last month, and Morrison stores nationwide across the UK.
Following the initial success of the light, golden beer, Old Session Hen is now launching its 10 pack of 440ml cans into Morrisons this month, ideal for those consumers looking for a lighter beer in can format.
Old Session Hen is a refreshing sessionable ale with hints of tropical fruit flavours balanced to complement the perfect level of bitterness.
The growth of can formats in the beverage industry, particularly for beer and other alcoholic drinks, has been a notable trend over the past decade and following the success of the Old Session Hen in bottle, the brand was keen to offer the ale in more formats and pack sizes.
Kirsten Alexander, Brand Manager for the Old Speckled Hen range, said: “We were thrilled by the initial response to Old Session Hen earlier this year and it have been growing popularity ever since. Keen to push the new brand even further, we felt there was a great opportunity for us to offer the beer in more formats where it also meets different drinkers’ preferences.”
The 10x440ml can pack of Old Session Hen will launch in Morrisons from late October with 500ml bottles of Old Session already available in Tesco and Morrisons stores across the UK.
