Mason & Company showcases beer from ten up-and-coming breweries from across the UK and Ireland with a Ones to Watch tap takeover.
Mason & Company, the craft beer bar in Hackney Wick, London, and the Canalside home of The Five Points Brewing Company, has announced a tap takeover to celebrate the beers of ten breweries that made waves in 2017.
After poring over the results of 2017’s Golden Pint Awards – the annual accolades given to breweries and beers handed out by beer bloggers – and following extensive discussions with industry peers, Mason & Company has compiled a list of new and exciting breweries to bring to Hackney Wick.
The breweries selected include Affinity Brew Co., Ampersand Brewing Company, Beatnikz Republic Brewing Co, Burnt Mill Brewery, Fierce Beer Co., Left Handed Giant Brewing Co., Little Earth Project, Northern Alchemy, Unity Brewing Co. and Whiplash Brewing Company.
In addition to the tap takeover, a tutored tasting session is offered, where representatives of five of the featured breweries will regale ticketholders with the history of their brewery and talk them through one of their beers each.
For some of the breweries involved, this will be their inaugural London-based event. Paul Greetham, founder and brewer at Beatnikz Republic, explains why the brewery is excited to participate in Ones to Watch and to make their London event debut, saying:

The Ones to Watch tap takeover takes place on Friday the 2nd February 2018 from 5pm and is free to attend. The tutored tasting session has limited places and tickets cost £10 plus booking fee. Mason & Company is a short walk from Hackney Wick station or a bus ride away from Stratford station.
