PEAKENDER – THE MOST UNIQUE BEER AND FOOD FESTIVAL IN THE UK

Peakender is back and it’s bigger and better than ever before. Our three-day festival returns this year from the 16th to 18th August, showcasing the very best Breweries, a range of outstanding Street Food, Live Music and Entertainment in the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings of the Peak District.

This year we’ve invited 17 of the best Breweries around, including Firestone Walker, Northern Monk, Magic Rock, Wander Beyond, Beavertown and Brooklyn. In addition to these we have 4 breweries taking part in a Peakender fringe festival the week prior to the event at our pubs in Sheffield and Taproom in Bakewell. There will be a whole host of free events over the course of the weekend. The opportunity to meet the brewers, taste exclusive beers and learn about the art of crafting beer, including a talk from British Beer Writer of the year Emma Inch.

With such a stunning line up of beer we felt the food offering should be nothing but excellent. Red’s True Barbecue are bringing Walter, their mobile smoker, to rustle up a selection of the best smoked meats and sides this side of the pond, Proove will be firing out their freshly made pizzas, Doner Summer are on board with their delectable Vegan kebabs, and Jade Rabbit cooking up outstanding Pan Asian street food. It doesn’t stop there, as there is even more on offer from grilled cheese to ice cream! Your inner foodie will be delighted.

The entertainment line-up is as hot as we’re hoping the weather will be. You can expect everything from Indie Rock Band, The Covasettes, Sheffield’s own Funk and Soul legends Papa Soul, ‘Powerhouse of Pop’ Scarlet, hailing all the way from Liverpool and TYNI, who despite her name is destined for big things.

Fancy something a bit different? There will be a gin tasting with Locksley Gin, Beer Yoga and The Mikeller Running club taking place for the runners among you! There will also be plenty to do for children, Peakender has always been a family friendly festival and we want to make sure the little ones aren’t left out of the fun.

Camp on site or just come for the day, don’t fancy fighting with the tent poles? We have a Glamping area on site for those who prefer a little more luxury from their weekend!
