Kicking off the new season in style, Marston’s Pedigree has been signed by a great new team at St George’s Park Football Centre located just outside Burton-on-Trent.
Built as the England football team’s inspirational new home for innovation in sporting performance, St George’s Park will become the educational hub for English Football for Coach Education and all FA development programmes. St George’s Park features two new hotels operated by Hilton and together with Spire Healthcare, the country’s first fully integrated Sports Medicine Centre of its type.
Taking the only permanent cask ale spot in the hotel bar, “The Crossbar”, Pedigree will be available to all the footballers, conference and banqueting customers and VIP guests expected to attend St George’s Park as part of the ‘buy local’ policy adopted by the group.
The Hilton Food and Beverage team, led by Adam Dunckley, have already fully immersed themselves in the unique method of brewing and fermentation for Pedigree by spending a day at the brewery in Burton and learning about the special qualities of Burton water. Opening the doors this week for business, the hotel took delivery of its first Pedigree casks but an official opening is due to take place in October.
Adam commented: “Marston’s and the team, led by our national account manager, Robert Leatherland, have been a pleasure to work with. They have helped us all the way with training and support and we’re enormously proud to serve Pedigree. We hope to return the compliment in our commitment to quality, service and of course, great sales.”
