In a first for the Great British Beer Festival, entertainment on the Thursday will be hosted by Planet Rock, the largest rock radio station in the UK.
Planet Rock will bring a whole day of unforgettable entertainment to this year’s festival, featuring the following bands:
- Broken Witt Rebels are the festival’s headline act – a four piece group beautifully crafting soul, blues, rock and electronic, hailing from Birmingham.
- Danny Bryant, a blues rock guitarist from Royston, Hertfordshire.
- The Dust Coda, a four member group delivering rootsy, soulful, yet edge-driven hard rock ‘n’ roll.
- Bad Touch, formed in 2010, originally from Norfolk, have started building a reputation for their dynamic live shows, making them one of the “must-see” acts at many local venues.
- Mollie Marriott, a versatile singer/songwriter from the UK with a rock, soul and R’n’B side, and daughter of the late Steve Marriott.
- Fireroad, a hard hitting, quality rock ‘n’ roll from the Valleys, South Wales.
Planet Rock will also run a competition to win VIP tickets to the Thursday session, which one of their radio presenters will be attending. They will keep their followers up-to-date with exclusive behind the scenes content and interviews live from the festival floor.
The ultimate festival for beer lovers, the Great British Beer Festival will return to Olympia London from 7-11 August. In addition to Planet Rock’s Thursday session, more exciting news for the lineup for the rest of the week’s entertainment will follow shortly.
