Wiper and True are opening a beautiful, sustainably-focussed new brewery and taproom in Old Market, Bristol on Friday 15th July, and would love to invite Guild members along to the new headquarters on Wednesday 13th July for our pre-launch party from 6pm onwards. We know Bristol is a long way for many members, so we’d be pleased to contribute to travel/accommodation costs if this helps make the event more accessible to you; please email alice@wiperandtrue.com if that would be useful. It’ll be a fun evening of exploring and enjoying everything the venue has to offer before we open to the public – and we’d really like to see some Guild members there!
The beautiful, plant-filled taproom and beer garden are designed by the team behind inland surfing destination The Wave, with a glorious permanent street food offering provided by Bristol legends Eatchu, plus an exceptional supporting cast of rotating pop-ups. Eatchu will be cooking up a storm at our pre-launch party, too. In addition to beers brewed metres from your seat, we’ll be serving natural wines curated by Cave Bristol, locally made spirits from Psychopomp and Circumstance, and plenty of alcohol-free and soft drinks, too.
We’ve carefully planned the venue to try and create a really accessible, inclusive space – for everyone. From day one we’ll be working to constantly improve on this, and we really welcome all feedback and suggestions.
