Applications for the Print Futures Awards close at the end of April.
- Are you already working in printing, packaging, publishing or graphic arts and would like to develop your skills?
- Are you studying for a printing, packaging, publishing or graphic arts qualification?
- Are you an apprentice or studying for an NVQ in a print related organisation?
If so, then you could be eligible to apply for a Print Futures Award of £1,500.
These grants, open to UK residents aged 18-30 years, are to help you develop your workplace skills or assist with living and travel costs while studying and working.
Entries close 30th April 2017.
The Awards are open to UK residents aged 18 to 30 years, who want to train for a career in printing, packaging, publishing or graphic arts. You could be eligible if you intend to or are already
studying or want to undertake short courses or training sessions to develop your workplace skills. You must intend to or already work in the UK printing, packaging, publishing or graphic
arts industries.
Previous winners have used their Awards to help pay for course fees and materials, short courses including printmaking, bookbinding, and colour management, materials and printing costs for
portfolios and graduation shows, travel and living costs during work placements, marketing courses, speaking and presentation skills for work, computers, design software, professional
accreditation, an occupational health and safety course, and a forklift and HGV licence.
