PUBLICANS WIN NOBLE REWARDS ON 3.2 MILLION PINTS OF 6X

Over 850 publicans and bar managers signed up to be part of the Wadworth Noble Rewards 6X loyalty scheme over the last twelve months. The list includes operators of managed and tenanted pubs, free houses, sports venues, social clubs, bars and hotels, all of whom saw the benefits of pleasing their customers whilst also earning benefits for themselves and their staff.

Between them they sold over 3.2 million pints of 6X, completed 1,902 full loyalty cards and claimed over 1500 prizes. It was the busiest year since the scheme was launched four years ago, and has resulted in publicans and bar managers all over the country receiving a variety of free merchandise to enjoy themselves or to pass on as staff incentives, raffle prizes or customer rewards.

“Noble Rewards is Wadworth’s way of rewarding our loyal trade customers and adding value to the industry,” explains Wadworth Beer Marketing Manager Ellie Alderton. “It is a scheme that is focussed purely on the trade and gives operators the opportunity to earn a wide variety of prizes. Noble Rewards works as an incentive and we also use it to drive home our message that serving quality cask beer is the way to build sales.”

The most popular prizes claimed this year were Love to Shop vouchers and two-night breaks away, but items for the pub were popular too, with umbrellas, polo shirts and auto-tilt devices all being ordered in quantity.

The scheme is very simple for pubs to operate. Each firkin of 6X is delivered with a sticker which is removed and saved. A sticker equals one point, and the points can be exchanged for anything from bar runners, dart boards and other branded merchandise to a two-night b&b break. Items that benefit the business are also popular, such as the Auto Tilt Stillage device which maximises beer extraction from a firkin thus reducing wastage.

“We see the Noble Rewards scheme as a well-deserved thank-you to publicans who are loyal to 6X and stock it in their pubs,” explains Ellie. “They are happy to stock 6X secure in the knowledge that it has a reputation built up over 90 years for consistency and reliability, and is very popular with customers all over the country for its modestly malty taste. They can also stock the brand with confidence, knowing that they can rely on us to support it with regular, substantial marketing investment.”
