Purity Brewing Company has launched its first ever collaboration beer, Pure Helles Lager.
This very special creation has been brewed in partnership with Germany’s Bayreuther Brauhaus, part of the Maisel’s family, which is one of the leading brewers in Germany and one of Purity’s long-standing partners.
Pure Helles is a 5% Helles-style lager following the Reinheitsgebot Purity laws of 1516, brewed on Purity’s own state of the art BrauKon brewery in the heart of rural Warwickshire.
Pure Helles is brewed using a ‘Step Mash’ process to extract every part of the fermentable sugars from the malt, and uses the finest English Maris Otter malt, along with Pilgrim hops from Worcestershire and a blend of classic noble hops of the highest quality from Bavaria. These give Pure Helles a clean, refreshing and bright appearance, but with that unmistakeable Purity character.
The new limited edition brew was launched at Purecraft Bar and Kitchen in Birmingham city centre on Tuesday 20th November and will be available in 30L keg across the on-trade.
