“I have been in correspondence with a US reader who is endeavouring to drink as many of the beers as he can in 1001 Beers You Must Try Before You Die. He is visiting the UK in the autumn and no doubt will be ticking off many British beers, but he has asked me about one in particular and how he can get hold of it — Gale’s Prize Old Ale, last produced by Fuller’s. If there are any members out there who have a bottle that they would be willing to sell please let me know and I will put you in touch with him.”
